Job Title: NYSC Associate (Law) – Remote

Location: Remote (with occasional in-person errands)

Monthly Stipend: ₦100,000

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and industrious NYSC Associate to join our law firm. This position is ideal for a Corps member looking to gain hands-on legal experience while building a solid foundation in corporate and litigation practice. The role offers a 100% remote work structure, with occasional in-person tasks such as court filings and visits to the Commissioner for Oaths.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with legal research and the drafting of legal documents and correspondence.
• Provide support in preparing case files and court processes.
• File returns with CAC.
• Conduct pre- and post-incorporation matters at CAC.
• Conduct follow-ups with courts and other public offices (as directed).
• Run occasional in-person errands (e.g., case filings, Commissioner for Oaths, document submissions).
• Maintain proper filing systems and support document management.
• Participate in internal meetings and brainstorming sessions remotely.
• Learn and grow under close supervision and mentorship.

Requirements

• Must be a current NYSC member posted or redeployed to Lagos.
• A degree in Law (LL.B.) and BL qualification.
• Industrious, dependable, and willing to learn.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Proximity to Lagos Mainland is an added advantage for ease of errands.
